SCSI Drive Lights Go Off

I have just added some drives to a drive cage in the ML 530 and all of the status cylinder lights on some preexisting drives have turned off even though the drives are still operating properly. What gives?

Check the firmware of your drives. If you mix them you quite often run into that problem. New firmware for drives can be downloaded at the usual sites at compaqs (http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server)
