two NT4 Operating System on the same box
Dear Sir/Madam;
Recently, we experienced two NT4 server blue screens on our ProLiant ML530 box. The server has been running great until recently. To prevent the blue screen from taking down the server, we decided to implement an emergency boot on the server by installing another Windows NT4 server on different partition so we can take the snap shot of the production system32 folder. We tried to install from NT4 CD and had no luck. We kept getting hard drive inacceessible error.
We are turning to you for your advice. Can ML530 host two NT4 Operating Systems? Please advise if it's doable.
Here's the system configuration:
Proliant ML530
system bios- P19
128 MB Ram
2x36.4GB HD with 15GB free space
Compaq Smart Array 4200 Ver 1.30
Any help/suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Re: two NT4 Operating System on the same box
Yes it is possible. The error you're getting has got nothing to do with the fact that you are installing a second NT. You get the error, because NT does not recognize you SA 4200. When NT setup starts press F6 at a very early stage (doesn't do any harm if you press at several times)
