Server power down with the indication: Proliant ML110 Gen9 Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, CPU 1 Memory Channels 1-4 (01h))
Coincidently this error occurs after an AC power lost and recovered during a very short time (less than 1 to 2 seconds).
Two questions:
1) How can I solve it?
2) Can this problem caused by a short time AC Power lost?

Re: Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, CPU 1 Memory Chann
Hi,
In such scenario, we would suggest to perform Diagnostics and see if any memory modules are faulty.
Check the Integrated Management Logs via iLO to see if any memory modules are faulty.
You may also update the server BIOS and other firmwares.
Thank You!

Re: Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, CPU 1 Memory Channels
Hello,
The issue is similar to the below advisory:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=a00073571en_us
If the issue persists,
please do perform a minimum configuration to isolate the faulty part and log a case with us using link https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/?language=en_US to review the logs.
Thanks.

Re: Server Critical Fault (Service Information: Runtime Fault, Memory, CPU 1 Memory Chann
I agree that my problem is similar to the advisory sent. How long should I press the power button to "Physically press the power button to recover the system from a brownout."?
I find other message on forum (link below) that similar problem was solved replacing system board. But before replace my system board, I would like to confirm that there is nothing to do to solve the problem.
Whe I try to power on the server, the system halts before power on self test (POST). When I remove ram memory from system board, the system starts until POST error due ram memory lack.

SolutionHello,
Please remove the external power cables and press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds.
If the issue is with the RAM, I would suggest you to perform a minimum configuration with 1 CPU and 1 DIMM and then adding the memory modules one after the other to isolate the faulty DIMM.
Thanks.
