Server showing memory errors.
Size: 1024 MB

Six slots are filled out of 8.
The server shows amber lights on the front panel.
There are no possible hardware errors.
Do we need to re-organize the memory. If so, how ?
Thanks

Re: Server showing memory errors.
ok there is an amber light in the server?
what about next to memory modules there is amber lights?
any error on POST in the server?
was the server working fine? or you're having this issue after adding new DIMMs?
just in case
like Sammy says
install the memory modules in pairs beginning with 2gb after that 1 GB
I mean first 2GB on the corresponding slots after 1GB
see the attached file to see the banks order

Re: Server showing memory errors.
There is amber light next to the DIMMs. From the OS side, the server looks fine.It is up and running.
I can not tell which DIMM as the server is in a remote data center.
Thank you.
