Shutting down server half way through SmartArray online volume expansion

Hi guys,

I've got a DL380 G5 with a SmartArray P400 controller card and BBWC currently doing a volume expansion on to 5 x 300GB disks (it's been going for nearly a week so far!),

As luck would have it, building maintenance for this office block have decided to schedule a power outage for this Saturday. I don't think my expansion will have finished by then (it's 71% done), so my question is, is it ok to power down the server for the day even though it's not finished doing it's volume expansion?

This site doesn't seem to think so, so I'm a little concerned that my weekend's going to go down the pan fast.

Hope someone's done this before and knows the answer!
