Silicon Image Sil3132 Not Recognized
I have a Sil3132 card I'm trying to install on my DL180 G5 with Windows 2008 Server (2GB RAM, 2 x 160GB HDD configured with RAID 1+0). When I install the card and boot the machine, nothing happens. I'm able to install the drivers manually, but in device manager it just shows up with a yellow exclamation and a code 10, device failed to start error. Any ideas? I'm plugging it into the full height PCI-express slot, and have also tried removing the bracket on the card and installing it into the half-height slot with the same results. I also have tried it on a second DL180 G5 with the same basic configuration (only difference is it has 3GB RAM and 2 x 500GB HDD configured in RAID 1+0) with no luck. Are there some BIOS settings/updates that I'm missing. Thanks

Re: Silicon Image Sil3132 Not Recognized
Bump!!!
I had the company I'm working with send another identical card and received the same results, so we have ruled out the controller card. Also, they sent another model of controller card to me and again it was not recognized and installing drivers manually had no effect. There must be some other SATA II 3.0GB/s capable, 2-port controller card that someone is using on this type of machine with Windows 2008 Server.
