in the ACU, when I select view logical drive, I have a fatal error.
message :
A fatal error has occurred

SCSI Status : 0002h
Command status : 0001h
question :
is there some firmware to be upgrade ?
The hard disks, the Smart array controller ?

Re: Smart Array 5300 - ML370 Xeon
Surely you can try updating the firmware of the controller. I just hope that the array controller may not be failing on you. Once you try updating the firmware you would know for sure. If the array controller is defective then you would not be able to update the firmware. Once you go past that stage then you may get an error message about updating the firmware of the HDD. Here is the link to update the firmware of SA5300:

Re: Smart Array 5300 - ML370 Xeon
I've changed the cable from the controler to HD and now it's work. ( probably the SCSI cable was to old. )
Thanks
