Smart Array 5300

I have a problem with a SMART 5302/64 Array Controller in a DL360, whenever the Array Configuration Utility is run the system freezes and has to be rebooted. I need to configure the arrays for a Windows 2000 install.
I have 4 x 18Gig disks on the 5300 on two channels and 2 x 18Gig disks on the onboard controller. I have upgraded the BIOS and I?m using Smartstart 4.9.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Might try removing the 5302 controller for now. Configure the internal drives and load the OS. Once the OS is up, make sure you have the latest Array Config Utility installed on the OS and then install and setup the 5302 array.
