SMART Array Controller
I am attempting to build a DO boot disk for my ML530 server because it is a development box that needs flattening alot. The only thing I can not get working is the DO driver for the SMART 3200 array controller which my hard disks are running off, a fairly important feature of a boot disk you might agree!
I am using the smrtscsi.sys provided by the latest Compaq support software which is version 1.20, dated 24/06/1996. This seems to be quite an old driver. Is there a new driver out there somewhere that I haven't found yet.
I have read about this being an issue if the controller is not set to primary but in this case it is.
I have searched high and low for a different driver but with no success.

Re: SMART Array Controller
On the Compaq site, there is MS-DOS SCSI Support Diskette Ver 2.18A (Jan 7 00). The Soft Pack is SP10751... SMRTSCSI.SYS
Provides support on SMART SCSI Array controller for accessing logical drives in protected mode. Also, supports multiple controllers and up to 24 logical drives.
Good luck with the venture..
