Hello Community
Before i buy new hardware i need to ask here if a smart array G10 controller can be used in a G11 server.
I don't find any compatibility matrix to this.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Smart Array Gen10 controller compatibility
Hello,
Below is the quicspecs link for SR Gen10 and Gen11 controllers.
Gen10 :https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00047736enw.pdf?jumpid=in_pdp-psnow-qs
Gen11: https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a50004312enw
Most of the Gen10 controllers are not supported with Gen11 due to architectural and Operational upgrades.
However, you can refer to the quickspecs of the Gen11 model which you are looking for and check for the supported controllers.
Thanks,
TAM

Re: Smart Array Gen10 controller compatibility
My text is gone when i put in the pictures.
For me it's not realy clear. I need a clear statement which controller is compatible with a Server PN: P65096-421
The ML30 G10 Server also has a PN ending with -421 so why it should not be compatible?
If i check the quickspecs it does show me two controllers, but when i check the quickspecs from the controllers it does not show me an ML30 as compatible.
Thanks
