Smart Array P400 - Remove disk after EXTEND Raid1

Hi everyone,

I've a Raid1 with 2disks (70GB).
Yesterday I've added two more disks to the Raid1 (EXPAND ARRAY).
Now I've an UNUSED SPACE (the two Disk I added to the array). - so now it's a RAID 1+0.
I wanted to know if it's possible to remove the two disk I added with Expand Array. (and go back to R1)
If I put them Out of the server, the Raid1 throw (logically) error of consistence.
