Smart Intelligence [F10] Prompt Missing In setting Setup [F9] Bios.

I had an event with my ProLiant DL60 Gen9 servers that I cannot explain.  Hopefully someone can help explain.

I want to make Window2012R2 installation on my server using [F10] Smart Intelligence, when I noticed that Smart Intelligence [F10] Prompt Lost during POST. I'm trying to enter Setup bios [F9] to enable Smart Intelligence Allocation, but the settings for ENABLE / DISABLE disappear from the menu list. How do I make it?

How to FIx This Problem.

Hi Yazid

Please try to clear NVRAM on the server.  You need to engage System Maintenance switch 6..

- Power off the server, remove the power cable

- Engage Switch 6 from System Maintenance switch

- Power on the server, wait for sometime

- Power off the server, disengage switch 6

- Then power it on.

You may refer to the following manual to check the location of system maintenance switch on system board:

If the issue is still unresolved, we may need to reset the ILO to factory settings and reflash onboard Nand.

You need to download the ISO file from the following link and boot the server from ISO. Let it complete the flash process.

Once done, then try to access IP. It that does not help, you need to contact HPE Support to get the board replacement.

all the way i made swith jump 6 maintanance reset made. set default by user. reset by factory. update interllegent privisoning 1.6, 1.6b, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 all error and vdram ..... I have no idea what to do, all the way I've done for almost 5 days is still unsuccessful .

There is an attempt to get offline intelligent Provisioning from hp links but can not download the cluttered file, cant download. For my server's knowledge it has run out of warranty on 28/12 / 2018 ago

now i install windows2012r2 by way of past Smart Array, install using sata option, can enter successfully install windows2012r2. But the other problems that colling fan are twisting at an unobtrusive speed as long as the server is on. try setting fan option at bios setting still can not, fan continue to rotate not stop except pc off new colling fan stop. is there any way how to set it?

or anyone can remort to my server do not mind using teamviewer or whatever way it can be. The important thing to get into my server is please fix my server problem ..... because my server running no problem is the problem only intellegent Provision problem it's only ...... thank you

I already downloaded IP 2.71, using two ways to run.
1. I use pendrive format still error vdram.
2. I use the same dvd format as well as error vdram.

I have to get offline intelligent provising new to get into smart provisiong for setup back windows2012r2, this way can be done .... my problem can not download because file got lock can not download

below included an error image in NVRAM when creating flash IP and second and third pictures of why the boot server HIP RESTfull API is not in the tick in the box as well as Intelligent Provisioning is not ticked in the box. intend to not work. The question is to fix this same problem. is this the cause?

well there may not be any improvements that the hp can provide with this problem.

So the commentary is that if something goes wrong with bios, Intelligent Provisoning or even with NVRAM. There's nothing else you can do, to put your money into buy new motherboard server. because there is no answer to repair this damage what happens. Because the hp can not help ......

So my motherboard server had to throw it off and buy a new motherboard because nothing could be made unless just changing the new motherboard. And I see the only weakness that can not be fixed when this happens.

I'm just sad that my own hp can not help with this problem. So I had to sacrifice to buy a new server. Perhaps I find it hard to buy a HP type server because of the average number of problems this happens that can not be resolved.

I feel sad with this problem, this server may be dropped into the trash

Probably allready tried, but in <F9>/SystemConfiguration/RBSU/ServerSecurity/IntelligentPriviosining<F10)  there is an option ENABLED/DISABLED  ??

it still does not fix this problem. until I was forced to use pc home user p13 install window2012r2, because my server down. intelligent Provisining Missing problem.

It is possible to download BIOS DL60GEN9 offline version 2018 free (SP99304.exe) (search for : SP99304.exe HPE) and followe the installation instructions.

When you do the offline IP recoverable media 2.71 for free , you must install the iso on the tumbdrive via the HPE USB Key Utility (V3.00,.).

Youcan download ILO4 V2.62 also for free; you upgrade that via OS (.exe)  or via ILO interface (extracted .bin file inside the .exe).

When nothing helps, then its probably a hardware failure .....

For your information, Firmware V2.60_05-21-2018A updates have been successful as demonstrated by HP, ways of updating the firmware.

1. Now the server has successfully updated the firmware. (refer picture number 1 below)

2. Now error code 330-HPE RESTful API Error - Unable to communicate with ILO FW. BIOS configuration resources may not be up-to-date.
Action: Restore Manufacture Defaults in RBSU. (refer picture number 2 below)

for Action instruction information as requested already made. but the same problem.

Maybe a RESTful API to be updated? And there is a way to update RESTful API ....

Can show you the ways and files that need to be updated ...... as soon as possible

Maybe this RESTful API problem if this problem solved successfully ...

First restore manufacturing defaults: <F9>/SystemConfig/RBSU/SystemDefaultOptions/RestoreDefaultManufacturing Options

When that doesn't help: Log in to your ILO (192.168.0.177 according to the screen) . When you dont't know password: Flip over the switch on the motherboard with "Override security password" (switch 1) and power ON and then log in with Administrator and leave password empty.

When in the ILO go to Information/Diagnostics and look for the status . When one of the option is yellow try the "Format the NAND"" option. After the format power the server down, pull power cord off it and wait some time. Then plug them in again and power ON. Then watch the status again in the ILO. Sometimes you must try it several times to Format the NAND.  When its not solving your issue, then probably the motherboard is defective ....

The yellow box is telling the problem - on ILO Diagnostics page selct ILO health, select format NAND, then pull the power plugs, then check ILO log if the NAND is successfully formatted.

Finally re-install Intelligent Provisioning.

I mistakenly press the ilo reset button as it is ticked in the picture. how can i get to enter the ilo in the window .... because now i can not get into ilo .... what do I need to do again ...

There is no answer from ILO.

Try to pull the power plugs for a minute.

Then check again ...

I use the hp light-out online configuration to get an XML file format for userd for restoration information. (see picture below)

here I include my original server xml format file for review by hp whether it needs to be corrected or added, can be made ... and resend it to me for the Restore back. To correct (refer attach file)

I hope to get help from hp. because I still can not solve this problem.
