SmartStart wil not boot my DL380 G4

I've downloaded the latest version and am trying to rebuild a server.

I've let SS run overnight and it hangs on the HP page.  The progress bar is completely white but will not get past that stage.

This was running 2008 R2 but needs to be rebuilt and have a fresh 2008 R2 install.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try a previous release of smart start and also clear the nvram and retry again 8.50

How far back can I go version wise adn still install 2008 R2 64 bit...I know that some of the older versions did not support this verion of 08.

And...Any idea how long it will actually take to boot fully.  I want to make sure I practice enough patience...I remember last time I did this it took a while to fully boot up.

So it fires up using the prior version but now handgs at a command line window.

the line seems to be an issue with a missing file.  I burned the file directly from the .iso file that i downloaded.  Burned it to a DVD.

The zip file had three files in it.  the iso file, a read me file and another random file.

I only burned the iso file onto the disc.

had to step down to version 8.4 to get it to work.
