SN1110Q Vmware Enironment Monitor and Firmware

So we are in the process of phasing QLOGIC cards out for the HPE branded ones SN1100Q. In the past I used the QCC vCenter Plugin to update firmware on these cards but have not used it in some time. I see HPE has the QCC Converge Console on there site along with agents for Windows and LINUX servers, this so you can use the console. Now how do you guys that have the SN1100Q cards in your enironment have these setup to monitor and update firmware? Do you just run the SPP to update them? Are you able to use the QCC COnverge console in the same manner as with QLOGIC cards? If I install the Qlogic vCenter plugin on VCSA 7.0 and the CIM provider on the hosts will this still work the same? BTW, this did not work in our test environment. I get "No Adapter Data Found" the plugin seems to be correctly registered just not pulling information back from host.
