Software / Automatic driver detection for upgrade

Good Morning,

Does HPE have a software solution similar to DELL, which installs software and detects the overhead drivers, etc.?

Waiting feedback.

Thank you

Re: Software / Automatic driver detection for upgrade

Hi,

As far as I know, HPE does not have such utility.  But we have SPP which provides Drivers and Firmware for ProLiants.

Thank You!
I am a HPE employee

Re: Software / Automatic driver detection for upgrade

I'm probably going to catch some flack from HPE, but there is a tool that's acctualy usefull, but likely not supported at all. If you head to software / drivers on HP's website (Not HPE), and use HP Support Assistant. It cannot find the software and drivers, but it can identify Make / Model of your Server as well as the SN. It's in a Copy-Paste format so you can always save to notepad for future ref and uninstall the HPSA after you have gathered what you need.

It's a shame that HP and Dell have this figured out, but HPE cannot seem to.

Hope this helps
