SSD Serial Number doesn't match HPE-Serial
Hello Community!
Two years ago, I purchased three new 800GB SSDs for a Gen10 server from an official HPE-distributor in Germany and installed them.
Now one of the three SSDs is defective, and I noticed that the serial numbers displayed in iLO and SSM do not match the serial numbers provided by the distributor.
Even when using the warranty check offered by HPE, the SNs displayed in iLO are shown as unknown.
The server itself is no longer under support, but the SSDs actually have a three-year warranty from the manufacturer. Therefore, it would be interesting to resolve this issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks and byebye
Falko
