Storage Controller/Media Format Compatibility Question
My org is currently migrating servers, from ProLiant G7 to Gen9. In this migration, we will also be moving to faster storage media (primarily HDDs to SSDs). Do Smart Array controllers natively support drives formatted as 520b/s (bytes/sector) ? Or will we need to re-format the drives to 512 instead?

Re: Storage Controller/Media Format Compatibility Question
Hi @TopHatPrdxns115 ,
Refer the quickspecs of the Array controllers of G7 and G9, you can get an idea about compatibility of SSDs, and Driver formats (520 or 512m/b).
Please elaborate your server details so that we can provide a better solution.
Regards,
Shiva_JR
