System Power Fault Detected on ProLiant DL360p Gen8
Hi,
I have ProLiant DL360p Gen8 giving on the ILO Log the following message below:
System Power Fault Detected (XR: 10 00 MID: FF 0D FC 06 FF FF 28 28 0C 0C 40 3F 20 00 03 01 81 00 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)
I was reading other threads with similar issues, but still not getting any solutions ....
So far I follow on instyruction to reset DIP switch #6 on the server, but doesn-t work ...
The main behaviour is:
1-I boot the server
2-Try to initiate system, without any prompt on screen or on the SID panel.
3-Suddenly shuts down and starts blinqing red the power led ....
4-And stops ...
Any assitance to solve this, I´ll appreciate....
P.S.: This server was working normally. I have installed software normally on the past ...
Kay

Hi,
You may need to replace the system board if the issue is not resolved after clearing the NVRAM using system maintenance switch.

Re: System Power Fault Detected on ProLiant DL360p Gen8
Hi,
This error indicates a hardware issue, typically related to the server's power subsystem and the voltage supply to the CPUs and DIMMs. You may need to log a support case with HPE if a detailed investigation is required.
