System Power Fault Detected ProLiant SL210t Gen8

Hello, The server is off and when I try to turn it on the Insight Display LED's flashing Red and nothing happens. I have the ILO access and in the IML there is a critical error with the following detail: System Power Fault Detected (XR: 28 A2 MID: FF 4D FC 01 FC FF FF 07 07 00 00 01 85 00 00 00 00 A7 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00) is there anyone here to know what does that meaning? and how can I decode this error to understand what is the problem?

Re: System Power Fault Detected ProLiant SL210t Gen8

Hello,

Issue: System Power Fault Detected (XR: 28 A2 MID: FF 4D FC 01 FC FF FF 07 07 00 00 01 85 00 00 00 00 A7 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)

Scope: This can occur when the CPU attempts to enter lower power states with a very low frequency. Entry and exit into and out of the C6 processor state causes this issue to occur.

Action Plan: Clear NVRAM & try minimal config & check if the server is booting up if the server boots up fine  follow the below:

Kindly update the SYSTEM ROM if its not latest version & make the below changes in BIOS.

1. BIOS FW:https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_9152459fe12242d6b059906693

2. Select enhanced performance options in BIOS Gen9/Gen8
HP Power Profile - Maximum Performance
HP Power Regulator - HP Static High Performance Mode

3.Disabling package C6 state will also prevent this issue from occurring.
