tape drive configuration
Compaq Proliant ML370
tape drive: compaq 12/24gb dat tape drive
OS: linux mandrake 9.0
I am unable to make mandrake recognize the tape drive.
when i checked /proc/scsi/scsi: attached devices: none
is it something to do with array or smart controllers??
do i need to get any special drivers to make the tape drive work??
Thanks,
-Siva
