teaming nics

is there any way of teaming multiple nics under redhat 7.0 like you can in nt/2000?

Verify what chip set is being used on the network controllers. For NIC teaming to work, both controllers must be using the same chip set and NIC drivers that support teaming. If you have NICs that are using the Intel chip set, you can download the required Linux driver from this web address.

Follow the installation instructions provided by Intel to setup NIC teaming in the Linux OS.
