The speed of processor 18 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware
Proliant DL380 G7. BIOS is P67. ILO is 1.93.
The speed of processor 18 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware
is repeated over and over in my Windows Event notifications as Warnings, with different numbers.
I have not made any changes to the Windows Server power profile, but I wonder if this could be related to the Power Scheme set in BIOS, that is currently at HP Dynamic Power Savings Mode...?

Re: The speed of processor 18 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware
Hi @CoramDaes
Please make following changes in BIOS and check:
Power profile->Maximum Performance
Power regulator->Static High Performance Mode
Disable CPU C state
Minimum Processor Idle Power Core State->No C-state
Minimum Processor Idle Power Package State->No Package state
Also
Change Power settings in the OS as well :
Control Panel->Power option->Change Power Plan setting->Chande Advance power settings->Set High Performance.
Expand the Processor Power Management settings and change BOTH the Minimum and Maximum Processor State settings to 100%.
Reboot and check the status.
Incase still same issue the
->Reset BIOS to default.

Re: The speed of processor 18 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware
Well I don't want to run at maximum power, balanced is fine. Power consumption is a thing i pay attention to in my environment.
Any other suggestion?
