Travan Tape Drive
I want to install a cheap tape drive on to my server. Can I connect it straight to the Primary IDE connection that is currently not used. The Secondary IDE connection is used by the CD-ROM drive.
I just need to know if it would work, or do I have to use a SCSI tape drive.

Re: Travan Tape Drive
Hello
The IDE controller in your server is fully functional. You should be able to use the IDE tape drive with it. But for support you need to contact the manufacturer of your Tape Device.
