Re: trying to configure iLO - DL360 G4
look at the "Integrated Lights-Out 1.70 User Guide" available at:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/CoreRedirect.jsp?targetPage=http%3A%2F%2Fh200007.www2.hp.com%2Fbc%2Fdocs%2Fsupport%2FSupportManual%2Fc00209014%2Fc00209014.pdf
Additional Information regarding ILO can be found at the Page: Manuals - HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) series:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179166&taskId=101&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=397989
Hope this helps.

Re: trying to configure iLO - DL360 G4
sorry, the first link in my last post seems to be broken. Try the second link, there will be a link to the ILO User Guide on this page.

Re: trying to configure iLO - DL360 G4
To run iLO RBSU:
1. Restart or power up the server.
2. Press the F8 key when prompted during POST. The iLO RBSU runs.
3. If prompted, enter a valid iLO user ID and password with the appropriate iLO privileges (Administer User Accounts>Configure iLO Settings). Default account information is located on the iLO Default Network Settings tag attached to the server containing the iLO management processor. If iLO has not been configured to present a login challenge to the RBSU. No prompt will appear.
4. Make and save any necessary changes to the iLO configuration.
5. Exit iLO RBSU.
Not much detail.
In my original question you can see what my options are and none of them look iLO related. I am either in the wrong place or something isn't setup right on the system.

Re: trying to configure iLO - DL360 G4
If i press F8 on my DL 360 G4 (with a keyboard and a monitor locally connected to the server) i get a menu with all the functions described in the manual.
Looks like you are using the command line mode accessable via serial connection or ssh from the OS. A manual for this mode can be found at the same page i have posted and is called "Integrated Lights-Out 1.70 Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide".
This two ways to access ILO are different and therefore there are two manuals ;-)
Hope this helps,
Kai-Uwe
