Umable to attach u.2 backplane to a RAID controller on DL380 Gen10
Hi
I have a DL380 Gen10 Server
Earlier i bought a u.2 backplane (826689-B21) + U.2 NVME enablement kit (873732-B21) and installed 8x3.84 TB U.2 Drives
and restarting the server: they are working well but i can't configure them to work as RAID (The drive are physically connected directly to the NVMe Riser) so how can i set them to work as RAID knowing that i Have a MR-416i-P RAID Controller (but i dont have the coorect cables to connect it directly to to the backplane)
Any Idea about how to solve the problem will be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Re: Umable to attach u.2 backplane to a RAID controller on DL380 Gen10
Hi,
If I check the 873732-B21, this is the cable part 875092-001
Please refer to the Cabling diagram for the above cable part number.
Thank You!

Re: Umable to attach u.2 backplane to a RAID controller on DL380 Gen10
Dear Suman, Hi
The 873732-B21 is the SLim SAS riser with its cables, they are connected correctly to the riser, so i can browse the through Windows but as separated disks, i want to configure them as RAID6, But i cant. I know the cabling diagram but there is no cables (in my case) connected to the RAID controller.
The question is: is there any cables that connect the backplane directly to the controller knowing that i have MR-416P Controller and it is suitable to use in my case.
Any Idea?

Re: Umable to attach u.2 backplane to a RAID controller on DL380 Gen10
Hi,
Other than the Cabling diagram, I have no idea about other connections.
Being a new server, can you contact HPE Support and get some help.
Thank You!
