Unable to configure RAID on Proliant DL380e
Hi. Proliant DL380e server lists HP Dynamic Smart Array b320i RAID Controller card. However, I can't configure RAID.
At the moment, the server has two sata disks and the Linux Debian 12 system installed.
I did the following procedures:
- I updated iLO 4 to version 2.82;
- I tried to access the "Intelligent Provisioning" tool by pressing the F10 key. The tool starts loading, but after the bar reaches 100%, nothing else is displayed (the screen goes black);
- I did a new installation of "Intelligent Provisioning", but the black screen persists.
See some photos:
Can anyone help me? I have never configured RAID on HP servers.

Re: Query: Unable to configure RAID on Proliant DL380e
The user guide says:
"The embedded storage controller supports SATA drive installation. For SAS drive installation, do one of the following:
тАв Install the riser board option with the embedded Dynamic Smart Array B320i controller (PN 684896-001).
The HPE Dynamic Smart Array B320i controller embedded in this riser board option requires an HPE Smart Array SAS License Key to support SAS drives. For information on obtaining a license key, see the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website. (http://www.hpe.com/info/saslicense) To activate the license key, use HPE SSA ("HPE Smart Storage Administrator" on page 109). For detailed instructions on how to activate the license key, see the HPE Smart Storage Administrator User Guide on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website (http://www.hpe.com/info/enterprise/docs)."
Question: "Intelligent Provisioning" is not being loaded because the disks used are SATA or because a license is missing?

Re: Query: Unable to configure RAID on Proliant DL380e
This link has a problem similar to the one I reported. However, there was no solution either:
I used a bootable ISO of the "HP ProLiant Offline Array Configuration Utility", but I had the problem below:

Re: Query: Unable to configure RAID on Proliant DL380e
Greetings!
If you have iLO configured on the server, mount the HP ProLiant Offline Array Configuration Utility ISO, boot from it and follow the onscreen instructions.
Or use HPE USB Key Utility for Windows to create a bootable USB
