Unable to download DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM

I'm trying to download the current System ROM for DL360/DL380 Gen9:

https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?softwareId=MTX_85595b5725814108b58f4626bd&tab=revisionHistory

The HPE website keeps saying an entitlement check is required, even though I have multiple matching servers linked to my account. Is this some bug on HPEs website? Does it work for anyone?

Downloads are presumably broken at the moment.

Re: Unable to download DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM

I think it might be related to the fact that HPE has removed the previous Warranty Check from their website and the new one doesn't work properly - i.e. it doesn't show any active support agreements, even when the server clearly has one.

Is HPE considering a workaround so that customers are able to download System ROM updates again!? Such as temporarily removing the entitlement check....

Re: Unable to download DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM

I don't think it's related to the warranty check or anything.

Gen10 downloads are broken as well ATM.
Whole subdirectories are missing from downloads.hpe.com.

Also, the support site is super slow, French translations are totally broken, texts are missing on some page loads even in English...

Did they recently move to Greenlake? Or is it happening right now?

DL360 Gen10 and DL20 Gen10 BIOS files have JUST been restored.

You might want to try your Gen9 downloads again.

Re: Unable to download DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM

Still getting the same message:

Support Validation Required

An active warranty or support agreement covering Proliant servers must be linked to your HPE Support Center profile to access this BIOS.

When I click on "Contracts and Warranties", it takes me to my profile where I can see one DL360 Gen9 and one DL380 Gen9 server listed (with active support agreements). The only other option I have is "Close". The download will not start...

Ouch no, still failing randomly.
I managed to download the DL20 Gen10 BIOS once, but can't do it again.

Since you're under warranty, you should probably raise a support request, but this website is badly broken as well.
Maybe try phone support.

Re: Query: Unable to download DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM

The first advisory warns that after updating to System ROM 2.30 (or later), the system may re-enumerate PCI Express devices. The second advisory states that ProLiant DL360 Gen9 and ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Servers - HP Integrated Lights-Out 4 Firmware must be upgraded when certain versions of the System ROM are upgraded.

If you are unable to download the DL360/380 Gen9 System ROM, you may want to review the two advisories to see if they apply to your situation. You can also try contacting HPE support for assistance.
