Unsupported Processor Detected System Halted
When we power on our server, system checks the RAM, it is OK and then initializes the CPU's after that we hear one long and one short beep message and see the message 'Unsupported Processor Detected System Halted'. We can not open the system with the Floppy Drive (with a new Rompaq BIOS version) because the system does not check the floppy at the beginning. Also the Internal Diagnostic Display shows '00' which means memory and processor OK. We couldn't find the way to solve this problem.

Re: Unsupported Processor Detected System Halted
Hi, the system bios should be upgraded, if its not reading the floppy you might want to lower the memory to less than a gig. It this case it might get the system to read the floppy in order to flash the system bios. Then you want to upgrade the SCU (system configuration utility) if it still wont recognized the processors

Re: Unsupported Processor Detected System Halted
I just replaced the non-funchiotal (video) motherboard on a DL360G5, and now I get a message that the BIOS does not recognize the processor. Is there a way to update the BOIS without a working processor?
