Upgrade a on Board Smart Array P410i with a Battery form a P400, to get a Controller with BBWC?

Hallo,

our Proliant DL 380 G7 has a Smart Array P410i 256mb Memory on System Board. To expand the Array (Raid 5) with two more SAS HDs, a Battery (BBWC) is recommended.

Can I use the battery form a ProLiant ML 370 G5 (Smart Array P400 256mb Memory and BBWC) ?

I don't have them in front of me, but I seem to remember that the last time I replaced batteries on a P400 and a P410, they had different connections where the battery attaches to the controller. Something like the P400 had a thicker connector compared to a smaller connection for the P410.

The quickspecs show different part #'s for a battery, and a quick glance through Google images is kind of what I remembered.

"383280-B21" for the P400 and "462969-B21" for the P410, I think. Double-check in the quickspecs though.
