Hello.
I have an ML110 Gen9 server - motherboard part number is 791704-001. Does this MB support Xeon v4 cpu's? I want to upgrade cpu to E5-2660 v4, but in the specifications I found that there is support for only v3 series. Thanks for any help

That's incomplete information. Check out the BIOS revision info.

Re: Upgrade Processor ML110 G9
Yes, but you will need to update your BIOS first. I've attempted to post the BIOS revision info here but the system keeps auto deleting my response. You can look it up in the revision history. Support was added March and June of 2016.

Re: Upgrade Processor ML110 G9
Hi i have a ml110 G9 Server too, The Product ID is : ProLiant ML110 Gen9 (794994-425) | Bios : P99 v2.96 (05/17/2022)
I read serveral information about the ML110 G9 Server and find out that HP uses different mainboard for the Ml110 G9 Server. The latest MB had a 8XXXX serial but my MB has the Serial 794994-425.
I would like to know if i can upgrade the CPU from a 2603v3 to 2695v4. Some Informations said that a BIOS upgrade should work with a v4 CPU, and other that the mainbourd is incompatible to use a v4 CPU.
Does anyone know if the Mainboard ( 794994-425 ) does support v4 CPU after a BIOS upgrade ?

Re: Upgrade Processor ML110 G9
I bought a 2695v4 CPU for 40€. For the price, it's worth checking if a v4 CPU runs in the server.
