Which one should I go with Broadcom MegaRAID MR416i-a VS HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR

I have the below options to select RAID Controller before purchasing HPE DL380 Gen 10 Plus:

  1. Integrated RAID Controller (Broadcom MegaRAID MR416i-a x16 Lanes 4GB Cache NVMe/SAS 12G Controller for HPE Gen10 Plus 12G SAS Modular Controller) with 4GB Flash Backed Write Cache (RAID 0,1,5,10,50,6,60)
  2. HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 (8 Internal Lanes/2GB Cache) 12G SAS Modular Controller Supporting RAID (0/1/1+0/5/5+0/6/6+0)

Which one should I go with?

I prefer the "HPE Smart Array P408i-a" this is the one HPE uses for the last 20 years.

But it has very high delivery times and is sometimes blocked by HPE for ordering.

The MR has also support for NVMe Raid.

ACP IT Solutions AGI'm not an HPE employee, so I can be wrong.
