Win 2k won't install w/native 4 procs.

Win 2k won't install w/native 4 procs.

Installing win2k on a 4 proc. 8500R via Smart Start 4.9 yields a black screen when Win2k tries to load. Does anyone know why this happens?

With no other info ( no record I could find of this being common) - I'd suggest drop to 2 processors, make sure rom is up to date - and try again. If you're still fighting this, email us at support@compaq.com
