Cannot upgrade HP Network Configuration Utility on DL380G4
Hi,
I have a pair of DL380G4 servers in an Oracle RAC configuration. During server builds, the NCU version installed was 8.0.0.0.
I am working with Oracle to diagnose a Cluster-Interconnect issue, and they have requested that I upgrade the NCU to 8.15.0.0.
Running the NCU Upgrade on my cluster node keeps failing with "The installation procedure did not complete successfully. An error occurred during the setup process. You may look at the setup log file for more details if desired. Press the 'Close' button to exit Setup."
However, there is no more detail in the log file, and the previous NCU is no longer functioning. I desperately want to avoid rebuilding this server, as it has a full Oracle RAC installation, but without NCU I cannot modify my Team NIC configurations.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Rod
