Care Pack

Maybe not the place to ask the question, but some of you guys must know this.

I have always bought maintenance on my servers from 3rd party providers, but am looking into Car Packs now as they are pretty competetively priced.

My question though - if my retailer builds me a server to my spec and supplies the Care Pack, will it cover the whole server (including any additional disks, memory etc. added) or just the base-level server purchased before they added on extras?
