Compaq Proliant 3000R - 101 / IO Error

At the time of book, encounter 101 / IO Error
Option ROM issue / Pulled the modem, LAN Cards but error still exists / Did note an amber light on motherboard but can not find reference to this led / Found the front of the machine it is located left side of the motherboard

Have you tried removing everything but the bare essintials? I/E: RAID controller, hard drives, floppy, cd rom (both data cables and power cables) etc? (everything but power and video)
I'm sure it sounds a bit extreme, but I had to do the same thing to a proliant 5000, and a few 6500, and 7500's.
Unfortnatly the MSMG isn't much help...
