Re: Delayed Write Failed
Russ,
Is this server part of a Microsoft cluster?
In that case you should apply a hotfix or servicepack 2.
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q252974.
Otherwise, please provide more details about the netraid configuration.
Marco.

Re: Delayed Write Failed
Hi,
Please read below the cause and solution for your question.
This could be because of automatic installation with the HP netserver navigator: see solutions IS7836 and IS9021 in http://isupport2.hp.com/solnDirect.asp
and/or Netraid 1M mgmt issue
I Hope this will help.
Karine
SOLUTION ID# IS10709
ISSUE:
Under a heavy I/O in Windows NT?? 4.0, multiple messages regarding System Process - Lost Delayed - Write Data appear.
CAUSE:
NT Disk Administrator reports the following partitions and sizes on Logical drive 0:3 partitions with space totaling 17,367 MB. However, the HP NetRAID-1M controller reports this logical drive as 17,351 MB, a difference of 16 MB. When NT writes data to the 16 MB disk space, the Lost Delayed - Write Data error occurs.
SOLUTION:
The logical drive size is matched between the NT Disk Adminstrator and HP NetRAID Utility by doing the following:
Back up the data on the server.
Update the HP NetRAID-1M firmware.
Reconfigure the array with the HP NetRAID-1M controller.
Re-initialize the logical drives.
Reinstall the operating system and restored the data.
Another potential workaround could be to backup the data on the last partition, delete it, and recreate a partition smaller than the original, so the used space in the Disk Administrator matches the drive size reported by the HP NetRAID controller.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: The above workaround is yet to be tested in the NSD lab.
