Hi
I recently tried to install a
PCI to USB 2.0 card in my server and it did not work. I was told by the card manufacture that the motherboard in an LC 3 did not have PCI specification 2.2 and that is why it was not working. I then checked on a PCI to USB 1.1 card and it needed PCI specification 2.0 or later.
After a lot of searching the HP website I found a document in the knowledge base article IS10524 Hp netserver L series and E series - PCI Specifications
It states that the Netserver LC(Old) has V1.0 and the Netserver LC(+) has V2.0. Does anyone know how I can tell the "Old" from the "+" version of the LC series Netserver.
I need to add USB 1.1 to this system if anyone has successfully been able to get USB working please let me know.
Thank you for any info
