LP2000r
I seem to have found conflicting HP info concerning the LP2000r, Netraid 3Si and Win2K. I need to know if this combination will work.
Thanks

Re: LP2000r
Michael,
Where did you find this conflicting info?
When you look at http://netserver.hp.com/products/highlights_nos.asp you see that the LP2000r is supported in windows 2000 server.
And when you look at http://netserver.hp.com/support/compatibility/compmatrix.asp you see that the 3si IS supported in LP2000r, but not in the 1.13 & 1.26 GHz systems.
And when you look at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNum=D5955A&prodName=hp+netraid-3si&locale=en_US&taskId=8415&prodSeriesId=62473&prodTypeId=51210&prodSeriesName=hp+netRAID+3si+controller&taskName=download+drivers+%26+software#Microsoft%20Windows%202000 you can see that HP provided windows 2000 drivers for the Netraid 3si.
So it should work, as long as you don't have the 1.13 or 1.26 GHz LP2000r servers.
Marco.

Re: LP2000r
But...if you go to the LP2000r support section and read the Windows 2000 installation guide, you will find in the appendix a matrix of netservers, netraid controllers and Windows 2000 compatibility. Check this: http://netserver.hp.com/docs/download.asp?file=it_win2k_0601.pdf.
I found all the docs you listed thus my seeming "contradiction" on whether this combo will work.
Thanks for replying
