ML110 SATA Model

I tried to add a ATA HDD on the ATA cable of the CD drive. The ML110 is a SATA model with RAID5 hot plug drives. But with this configuration the server doesn´t boot. Jumper settings of the drives are correct. Any idea?

Use additional IDE ATA controller, CD IDE connector only for CD and DVD, logic not designed to support HDD
