Netserver crashing

Hi

Our netserver crashes very infrequently (once a month maybe). It reboots to the SCSI screen and sits there. If I turn it off and on it boots with no problems. Rather than resolve the problem yet can anybody suggest which (good) tool I can run to see what is causing this (HP or third party)? I don't know if it is hardware or software

Cheers

Stephen

Re: Netserver crashing

Well, a little more information on what you are running would help. What server are you using?

Re: Netserver crashing

Hi Theo

Sorry. Its a HP Netserver 2000 with SBS 2000 on it (including Exchange 2000). It is really only used as a server for office documents and e-mails and also dial in (internal isdn modem)

Re: Netserver crashing

Here is the link to diagtools page. You should use the diagtools application, but since you just said 2000, I don't know if you mean the LC2000 or LP2000.

Re: Netserver crashing

You can also view the Hardware event log of the system via the Navigator CD to see if it something hardware related.
