Hi,
i have a problem with my HP Netserver LXr PRO (D4900A).
The Server doesn't boot from any Floppy, Hard Disk oder CDRom.
Bevore this, i had the problem only when i used the RESET Button. When i used the Power Button everything works great.
Now the System doesn't want to boot anymore :-(
hope anyone can help me

Solution
Have you tried clearing CMOS by using the switches on the system board? They're located near the PCI slots.
To clear CMOS:
1. Turn the system off and unplug it for at least 5-10 minutes;
2. Flip the Clear CMOS switch to the ON position;
3. Turn system back on, you'll get a message that you need to turn the switch off before rebooting.
4. Turn the system off again and move the switch back to it's original position.
5. Turn system back on.
After doing this, you should be able to boot again.
If you can boot to a floppy after this, you need to make sure your BIOS & ECU are up to date. You can download the latest versions here:

After updating the BIOS, clear CMOS again using the steps above, then boot to the ECU floppy. Just save and exit if you don't need to make any changes.
