Boot controller is Smart Array 641 Controller
Boot controller disk size = 0
On booting I can see all 5x 72GB disks detecting and being given Id's 0,1,2,3,4.
when I press F2 to get to RAID config. I see only HPSCSI controllers and no RAID.
I have SmartStart 7.10 and Raid utility see the 641 controller but not the disks.

Solution
Hi John:
Your drives are not physically connected to the SA641 controller.
Need to move the cable from the emedded scsi controller to the smar array controller; then AT post can go to F8 and configure array; or use smart start cd to configure server for o/s; if you have o/s already installed; and need to create array; then have to reinstall the o/s on raid.
Note you should not see scsi ids for the drives if they are connected to the SA641 controller only can see logical drive; unless you go to F8 for the SA.
Best regards,
Tarek.
