DL 360 Disk problems
I have had 2 DL360's fail drives randomly. They both worked for a least a week then I would see the startup screen asking if I wanted to start recovery of the disk. It gets up to windows then both disks fail (red). I restart then sometimes it will run OK for a day or so. I have used 36gb 15k Ultra scsi3 and 36gb 10 Ultra scsi3 both fail over time even though I know they are good. All ROM is newest out there.
Any Ideas?

Re: DL 360 Disk problems
Hi Patrick:
This is a system board issue; Would have to replace the system board to fix this problem.
Make sure that power supply REV. is 09 and over.
Array controller is installed to the system board by the Black I/O fan and the power supply ; and it is not the issue;
the Scsi backplane where the drives connect to is plugged in to the system board; like a Pci riser card.
Only thing will fix this issue is new system board.
Best regards,
Tarek.
