Is it possible connect to Server ProLiant140 hard drive (ATA) with capacity more than 80GB ?

But HP ProLiant 140 has SATA (1,5)/SAS internal interface, is there ATA/IDE controller onboard ?

Czesc, nie podales zbytnio jaki konkretnie model posiadasz, a to jest bardzo wazne, np ktory wypust generacyjny tzw Gx (np. G2). Te serwery maja interfejsy SATA1 / SAS, wiecej nie ma nic o zwykÅ ych ATA/IDE. Jesli myslales o dysku SATA to powinien obsÅ użyÄ każdy dysk zgodny ze standardem SATA1 (patrz zworki na dysku) o wielskoÅ ci nawet 500 GB.
JeÅ li uzyskaÅ eÅ pomoc przydziel punkty :)

There is no sata/sas interface;

Niestety nie ma interfejsu SAS/SATA, a na dyski ATA jest blokada, znaczy nie obluguje wiekszych niz 137GB :(
Jest za to zlacze PCI-X wiec zastanawiam sie czy nie kupic kontrolera np. RAID Adaptec AAR-1420SA Bulk

JeÅ li nie potrzebujesz RAID 5
