Iam trying to change the OS to my Poliant 3000 from Unix to Windows 2000, the first time I tried the SmartStart CD it works, but now I am receiving an error message "Non System Disk or Disk Error"

Did you use the System Erase Utility from the SmartStart CD? If the server will not boot from the CD, you can use the System Erase Utility from diskette, here:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17918.html
Once the system is wiped, you should be able to boot from your SmartStart CD, give the server some time (a few minutes sometimes) to completely reset on the first boot... it should boot to the CD.
If the server still will not boot from the CD after several minutes, you can use the System Configuration Utility from here:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/13227.html
You will need 4 diskettes. Once you config the server, make sure you select Windows as your O/S and check the boot order to make sure the CD-ROM is the first device.
Here is a link to all the drivers and software you will need for this server on Win2K:
