Proliant 800

I am trying to find tech spec for the hard drives in my server. Can I use LVD drives? If so, what is the max. size I may use?

Re: Proliant 800

You can use LVD drives if you have LVD compatible Cage.
Cage which is compatible with 1200 and 1600, it might work with 800 - 387089-001 (Contact COMPAQ for Confirmation, they might have other option)
Once again LVD Cages they required more Power and I believe they longer for ~1 in. Verify Power Supply in your 800 model and Power Connector for Cage.
