ProLiant ML110 G3 maximum hard disk size
We've run out of disk space in our ProLiant ML110 G3 with two 160GB SATA drives in a RAID1 array.
According to the QuickSpecs, the maximum hard disk size is "up to 1.5TB (3 x 500GB...) SATA HDD (FIO SATA Model)".
However the "Maximum Storage Capacity" is rated at "3 x 250GB... hard drives" with "3 x 500GB via FIO... only".
I suspect that means that 500GB drives cannot be installed later if they were not original equipment and we're now limited to 250GB drives. The PartSurfer (the HP parts store) offers only up to 250 GB hard drives.
Can anyone confirm if 500 GB drives are usable on this server if they were not original equipment? Are we indeed limited to 250 GB drives?
