Replacing failed disk in RAID array
What is the correct proceedure for replacing a 18GB disk in an LH3000, if the customer insists on powering down the server before the disk is swapped.
There are 3 x 18GB disk setup with Raid 5.
I have tried swapping the failed disk, with the server powered off, but on power up the new disk remains in the failed red state.

Re: Replacing failed disk in RAID array
If you power the server down to replace a failed hdd then auto-rebuild will not kick off. Boot into Ctrl-M and start a manual rebuild there. You'll have a rebuild option on the main menu.
