Shared DDS-4
Hi,
I have this server: HP Proliant DL360, and HP Proliant DL380 with a DAT DDS-4. Can I share this DAT, to make a backup from DL380 to DL360? Need I and special backup software, or can I make this with NT Backup?
Many thanks

Re: Shared DDS-4
you will need to either create a backup file within NT Backup and then back that up to the drive using the other server, or you will need to invest in a software solution that allows remote agents! (veritas/symantec Backup Exec) for example.
due to the cost of using Backup Exec it may be more worth your while investing in a second DDS Drive
