Preparing for replace fc adapters and ethernet adapter at 2 node Mc Service Guard cluster

Hi

I have a 2 node McService Guard Cluster running hp-ux 11.31, in which one of the nodes has 3 faulty cards namely:

  • AB379-6010 (4Gb FIBER CHANNEL ADAPTER)
  • A7012-60601 ( PCI X100Base dual port adapter)
  • AB290-60001 ( PCI X1000t, 2PORT u320 SCSI, Combo adapter

I have no knowledge in McServiceGuard, and at the moment I dont have a contract with HPE.

I need a plan to replace all this cards, I am not sure how to draw it.

Can I have some assistance please

Re: Preparing for replace fc adapters and ethernet adapter at 2 node Mc Service Guard cluster

I'm afraid but your requirement is not very clear to me. I believe you have the cards you want to replace and are looking for procedure to stop MC ServiceGuard on the server.

You can find procedure to stop a running package on one node and start the same, on other node, in the following document link :

https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c05031401

However, if you need more detailed and specific software or hardware assistance, you can chat or call HPE Support Center at the link below and get required service on T&M basis :

Hope the above helps
